Dementia Care Programme

Supporting Residents Living with Dementia

For residents living with mild to moderate dementia, we plan care deliberately around them. Rather than a separate facility, our approach shapes the home, the daily rhythm and the team so that life stays familiar, unhurried and dignified.

A home that feels calm and knowable

We adapt the residence itself: softer, quieter living areas, gentle lighting and clear sightlines, secure and discreetly managed doorways, and simple circulation paths that allow safe walking indoors without confusion or dead ends. Familiar cues - colours, signage and personal belongings - help residents find their way with confidence.

Programming built on rhythm and repetition

Days follow a steady, predictable routine: the same meal times, the same morning walk, the same afternoon music or gardening. Activities are repetitive by design, drawing on long-term memory through familiar songs, hand tasks, reminiscence and gentle movement - reassuring rather than demanding.

A care team trained for dementia

Our Household Care Team receives dementia-specific training in communication, redirection and responding calmly to distress or agitation. They are supported by Minmed nurses, our counsellor and physicians, with individual care plans reviewed regularly together with the family.

An add-on within our Community Homes

The dementia care programme is offered as an added layer of support within our Community Homes, for residents with mild to moderate dementia. Because it involves additional staffing, training and home adaptations, a care supplement applies on top of the monthly fee. We will always walk through this with you openly during your assessment, so there are no surprises - only clarity about the care your loved one will receive.
